Before and After School Procedures
- Students should not be on campus before 8:10 am. All students on campus participate in our morning walk around the blacktop between 8:10-8:17 am. Students must arrive before the warning bell. School begins promptly at 8:20 am.
- Parents and students should not enter classrooms unless the teacher is present.
- On rainy days, teachers will open their doors at 8:10 am.
Field Trips
Teachers may ask you to drive or chaperone on a field trip. Please remember:
- To keep a current driver insurance form on file with the teacher.
- You may not make any unscheduled stops or purchases with your group.
- Siblings cannot attend field trips.
PTA
Help coordinate family fun nights, the walk-a-thon, and enrichment activities. Join the Evergreen PTA for just $10 and help make the school year memorable! Meetings are held monthly. Free daycare for Evergreen students is provided.
Attendance
It is very important for your child to be present in class every day. Please make every effort to schedule appointments after school hours.
If your child will be leaving early, please send a note for your child's teacher. If you are picking up your child early, please go to the office to sign them out. The office staff will call
your child to the office.
Students will receive any make-up work upon their return.
If you anticipate that your child will be missing more than 5 days of school, please notify the office for an independent study contract.
Please see your child's teacher for more information regarding attendance.
Guidelines for Parents
If you need to make a delivery such as lunches, homework, instruments, etc., please bring them to the office. Please do not drop off deliveries to the classroom.
If you need to talk with your child's teacher please set up an appointment. You may call, email, or send a note. The teacher will get back to you.
If you would like to volunteer in your child's class please arrange a time with the teacher ahead of time. Always sign in at the office when you arrive.
Emergency Forms
Please make sure you have an updated emergency card on file in the office, as well as through PowerSchool.
Please notify the office of any address, phone number or contact person changes.
Animals
No dogs are allowed on campus.
